Introduction

Salesforce TDX is a flagship developer conference designed for the new era of AI-led transformation. As the world’s leading CRM technology provider, Salesforce brings together developers, technologists, and innovators to explore Agentforce, autonomous AI agents, and the future of software development. With thousands of attendees and multiple high-energy breakout sessions running in parallel, the event demanded a solution that could deliver focus, clarity, and engagement—at massive scale. This is where Starr Play International stepped in with a robust Silent Conference Solution in India, purpose-built for large, multi-track conferences.

The Challenge

The core challenge was scale and complexity. Over 10,000 participants were spread across two expansive halls, with 12 concurrent breakout (theatre-style) sessions running simultaneously. Using conventional PA sound systems would have led to audio spillover, distraction, and compromised engagement. Additionally, each breakout session hosted different speakers, audiences ranging from 100 to 500 delegates, and tight agenda transitions. The client needed a solution that enabled parallel sessions without noise conflict—while ensuring crystal-clear audio, smooth transitions, and a premium delegate experience.

The Solution

Starr Play International deployed a comprehensive Silent Conference System, enabling multiple sessions to run simultaneously within the same physical space—without interference. Each breakout track was equipped with dedicated transmitters and speaker microphones, while delegates received wireless headphones and receivers tuned to the specific session they were attending. Our team ensured zero frequency clashes across all 12 tracks, maintaining uninterrupted, high-quality audio throughout the two-day event.

A specialised on-ground team of 40 Starr Play professionals managed operations end-to-end—from setup and frequency planning to live support and session transitions. Special attention was given to health and hygiene: every headset and receiver was sanitised before use, supported by a well-planned backup inventory. This ensured seamless equipment rotation with no downtime, even during peak session changes.
